Cambridge Hackspace is organized exclusively for charitable, educational, and scientific purposes within the meaning of Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 (or the corresponding section of any future United States Internal Revenue law) and within the scope of Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 180, Section 4 (or any corresponding future section of the Massachusetts General Laws).

The specific purpose of Cambridge Hackspace is to foster a collaborative environment in the Greater Boston Area where people can explore and create intersections between technology, science, art, and culture. The means of doing so include, but are not limited to, providing a workshop and meeting space for its members and members of the public at large to learn and apply new skills and techniques from each other.
