Technical Machine and Cambridge Hackspace are jointly hosting a hackathon!

Tuesday, 2/22 6:30PM Industry Lab

Event Details

Tessel is a wifi-enabled microcontroller that is programmable in JavaScript and designed to get you from idea to connected device prototype as quickly as possible.

We are bringing some of our pre-release boards to Cambridge Hackspace to let you play with Tessel before the product ships. Be sure to bring your laptop!

(Also, there will be food.)

Know before you go

For this hackathon, we will have available around 15 Tessels (you may need to pair up) and the following modules:

Information about the modules, including code samples, can be found at tessel.io/modules.

We’ll have instructions to get you started at the event, as well as API docs, but in case you want to poke around beforehand, you can find some hardware documentation here.

After the hackathon

We will need to collect all of the hardware at the end of the day; these are our development boards, so we need them to finish testing– but!

You can buy the hardware at tessel.io/shop (we’re shipping in June), and we’ll even give you a 10% discount code at the event, good on any order until May 1st.

See you there!
